Roughly 4 million Dish Network subscribers said good-bye to the NFL Network this past Wednesday, February 20, 2008. The NFL Network was temporarily offered as a free preview to customers of the AT100 and above packages, but is now only available in the AT200 or above packages.
If you currently subscribe to the AT100 or AT100 Plus packages, you will need to upgrade to at least the AT200 package to continue receiving the NFL Network. The same rules apply if you currently subscribe to the corresponding dishHD Essentials package with the AT100 or AT100 Plus. You will need to upgrade to the AT200 programming package to receive the corresponding dishHD channels.
The AT100 and AT100 Plus packages still carry a great variety of sports channels including ESPN, ESPN 2, TV Games Network, and the AT100 Plus customers still receive all applicable Regional Sports Networks (RSNs). Sports enthusiasts will benefit greatly from upgrading to the AT200 package, which includes many sports channels as well as other programming not found in either the AT100 or AT100 Plus packages. Some channels not found in the lower packages include CSTV, ESPN Classic, FX, Speed Channel, Bravo, WGN Superstation, Game Show Network, truTV, MSNBC, G4 and 60 Sirius music channels. Additionally, AT100 customers that upgrade to the AT200 package will receive their applicable RSNs.
