Dish Network Adds More New HD Channels

Dish Network added more new HD channels to their dishHD lineup this week. Earlier this week, the satcaster announced the addition of WGN HD, which was currently available only in standard-def. WGN America is an exciting addition for Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox fans because they will now get to watch their favorite teams play in the stunning clarity of high-def. Also broadcasting are local news programs featuring Chicago and syndicated repeats such as 24 and Nash Bridges. DishHD subscribers can find the station on channel 239 if they subscribe to the AT200 package and above with dishHD, or the dishHD Absolute (Standalone) package.

The addition of WGN America is part of a larger carriage agreement between Dish Network and the Tribune-owned local stations. The most recently added markets are Fox station KCPQ in Seattle, CW station WPIX in New York, CW station WGN-TV in Chicago, and Fox station KTXL in Sacramento, California.

TV viewers wishing to get WGN America in high def can sign up for dishHD from an authorized Dish Network retailer like All American Dish. For the best value in High Definition entertainment visit www.AllAmericanDish.com or call 1-877-444-4388 today.
