Dish Network Adds 8 More HD Markets

Dish Network announced yesterday (12/4) they will now be offering HD local channels in 8 more markets. Earlier this year, the satcaster promised 100 HD local markets by year's end. These additional areas inches them closer to their goal, bringing the total up to approximately 92 markets.

The areas added are:
Omaha, NE - WOWT, NBC affiliate

Madison, WI - WMTV, NBC affiliate

Waco, TX - KWTX, CBS affiliate

Lincoln, NE - KOLN, CBS affiliate

Greenville, N.C. - WITN, NBC affiliate

Lansing, MI - WILX, NBC affiliate

Charleston, S.C. - WSAZ, NBC affiliate

Lexington, KY - CBS affiliate
