Cable Rate Increase for Orlando and Central Florida

Cable TV subscribers in the Central Florida areas can expect to see their cable rates go up on their March bill.

Bright House Networks will raise standard cable rates by 4.3% in March. Standard cable (basic local and non-premium channels) will increase from $50.79 to $52.99. Digital cable rates will go up 2.6%, from $58.49 to $59.99. Premium channels will also go up; the cost of having one or two groups of premium channels will go up $1, and the cost of having three or four groups will go up $2 per month. Bright House services more than 850,000 customers in nine Central Florida counties.
