Choose Your Presidential Candidates for 2008 with Dish Network Dish Decision 2008

Having trouble deciding which presidential candidate to support? Dish Network offers an easy solution to figure out which candidate best lines up with your opinions and values with Dish Decision 2008, an interactive application available to all subscribers.

In early January, Dish Network launched the first phase of this interactive service with You Decide 2008, which helped match Dish Network subscriber opinions with candidate positions by asking the subscribers a series of questions. In late January, the second phase was launched providing subscribers with unbiased candidate stances on key issues to help further narrow their decision.

Accessing Dish Decision is simple. Dish Network subscribers can follow these simple steps.
1. Hit the Dish Interactive button on your remote control, which will take you to DishHome or Channel 100.
2. Select "News" which will bring up a prompt screen.
3. Select Dish Decision 2008 from the list of choices.

Once Dish Decision 2008 is selected, Dish Network subscribers will see a list of the Democratic, Republican and Independent presidential candidate names. When a candidate is selected, subscribers are taken to a screen displaying brief, unbiased positions on key issues ranging from the environment, war on terrorism, taxes, immigration and more.

Dish Network's Dish Decision 2008 also allows subscribers to voice their opinions through Dish Polls. Poll questions can be voted on daily, weekly, or monthly using the subscriber's remote control ,Internet service, or SMS text service provided by Cellpoint Mobile. The final results of the polls are then fed back through the various platforms through OpenTV Participation™, which provides the capability of real time participation management across any platform.
