Comcast to Raise Cable Rates in the Bay Area

As if it isn't expensive enough to live in the Bay Area, Comcast will be raising rates again October 1, 2008. Cable customers will see hike of 6.9% or 12 cents a day, and only affects customers subscribing to standard cable service. This increase also occurs at the same time Comcast begins imposing a 250-gigabyte cap on broadband service to curb excessive movie and music downloads.
