Cox Cable Raising Rates for Virginia Residents

Cox cable subscribers in Hampton Roads, Virginia can look forward to adding a cable rate increase to their list of expenses for November. On average, rates will rise 6.4% on standard cable packages. Standard cable will increase by $2.95 to become $48.95 a month. Digital cable with one extra tier of channels will raise by 55 cents, and Digital Deluxe service with three tiers will increase by $1.55. Also, most "on demand" movies will increase from $1.04 to $4.99.
